Law Faculty Students from Lukavica visited the Court of BiH
A group of 20 students of the Law Faculty in Lukavica visited today the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The purpose of the visit was to inform the students, within their practical and specialist training, about the activities of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Within the first part of the visit, the students were welcomed by Irhad Bilić, Legal Advisor to the President of the Court and Head of the Public Information Section. In the second part of the visit, the students were informed about the structure, jurisdiction and functioning of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina through presentations given by representatives of the Legal Division and Witness Support Section of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and given answers to a large number of their questions.
During the visit, activities were agreed about signing of the Memorandum and the drafting of the Action Plan, which will enable students through organized visits to the Court, to provide other forms of student involvement in the work of the Court with the aim of acquiring numerous competences related to work in the judiciary of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the end of their visit, the students received materials containing further information about the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and were also invited to follow the activities of the Court at the Court’s official web site.
