Students’ practice for quick employment

Employers, academic community, students and civil society organizations are in Sarajevo, April 15, 2019 at the conference entitled “Students’ practice for quick employment”, considered the necessity of students’ practice as an incentive for better education and quick employment of young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The aim of the project is to support higher education reform in the part that will ensure the establishment of regular student practice at higher education institutions in BiH, with the support of faculties and business community. As part of the project, a conference was held, attended by representatives of the Faculty of Law in Lukavica, relevant institutions, universities, faculties, representatives of the business community, employers’ associations and chambers of commerce, student organizations and others dealing with youth issues, student exchange and vocational training.
During the conference, the representatives of the Law Faculty in Lukavica showed positive experiences regarding the organization of students’ practice and the way of grading and evaluation in the teaching process, bearing in mind that the Faculty of Law was among the first higher education institutions in BiH that implemented practical teaching students into the curriculum and the program as a compulsory subject. The conference concludes the establishment of the ERSE Network (EducationReformSecureEmployment), in support of the links and joint activities of the academic and business community, and students’ associations and institutions.
The project is funded by the European Union and the Faculty of Law in Lukavica will be the part of this project in the next 36 months.
