Eureka is an European network for financing market-oriented projects from various technical areas. It was launched in 1985 by 17 member countries from Western Europe, and today it has 38 full members. Eureka helps build partnerships through joint multilateral projects aimed at strengthening European competitiveness.

The results of the projects are new products or services that promote advanced technologies and have their place in the market. Over the years, Eureka has helped research institutions to collaborate on more than 2,000 projects. A large number of institutions that cooperated on these projects achieved a significant increase in annual turnover, thanks to the results achieved. The program is intended for research institutions and companies, ready to jointly develop new technological solutions and products together with joint investments in certain programming areas. At least two partners from two different countries must participate in the project.
