Objectives of the course

The objective of this subject is to introduce students to ethics in research work; choosing and defining the research problem and the technique of writing scientific work.

Acquired knowledge

Students need to gain the knowledge necessary for independently setting up the research task, presenting and publishing results, and the manner of addressing and communicating in the academic community.

Concepts: methodology; methods; scientific research. Modern methodological approaches to the research of social sciences. Methods of data collection. Data Collection Techniques. Selection of research problem. Technique of scientific work. Concept of law and methods of law. Subject of methodology of legal sciences. Methods of acquiring rights, general concepts; philosophical; sociological; normative-dogmatic; psychological method; legal-political; historical; comparative; linguistic and logical method. The notion of legal technique. Methods of creating rights. Methods of applying the law.

Teaching methods and material mastering

Lectures, interactive forms of teaching, case analysis, individual and group projects.
