The required level of knowledge and skills for understanding EU policies and law and the manner in which its regulations are applied in the Member States and the impact of Community law on the rights of third-country non-member countries.
The first part is dedicated to institutional issues such as: the emergence and transformation of the EU, the EU bodies and their composition, competence, decision-making and relations with third countries. The second part examines the substantive law whose regulations regulate the functioning of the internal market: the free movement of goods, persons, services and capital, as well as competition rules and other EU policies.
Lectures, exercises, consultations, written examinations (colloquiums) individual student work (seminar and homework, papers, etc.), as well as group participation of students in the study of certain thematic units.
